I am M.S.Kiran Karthik, A student of Mechanical Engineering at Vellore Institute of technology ,VIT-Vellore. I love physics and especially have a good interest on CAD (Computer Aided Designing). I mostly use Fusion 360 software for modelling, and also have a good knowledge on Solidworks, Autodesk Alias speedform & Ansys(little) . I am very good at fusion 360 software.

Making of Optimus Prime

                                      The optimus prime head is a complex and heavy detailed design and the workflow screen shots of these are given below. Most of the modelling is done in form environment and surface. The side wise discs are designed through general profile extrusion followed by chamfer and fillets. Other than the two discs and side mounted carving plate everything is made in form space. The eyes are extruded through sketch and patched in surface. The (cheek side) parallelograms and the eyes are the sketch extrusions followed by trim tool to get the surface finish. Appearances are applied with metal steel and chrome blue.
